Sweet Mango Pickle - Aam Ka Mitha Achar,with cardamom seeds












Aam Ka Mitha Achar

A delicious side dish can be served along with roti, chapathi and many more breakfast dishes and nastas.


Ingredients:
·         Green mangoes
:   675gms                                         
·         Brown cardamom seeds
: 2tsp
·         Sugar
: 575gms                                           
·         poppy seeds
: 1tbsp
·         Salt
:  2tsp                                                
·         Red chili powder
:  1tsp
·         White cumin seeds
: 1tbsp
Procedure:
Take out at least 450 grams of flesh from cleaned, peeled and grated fresh green mango.
Mix the grated pieces properly with salt and sugar in a large bowl.
Heat a pan and roast the cardamom, cumin and poppy seeds altogether and add chili powder.
Mix the spices thoroughly with the sweetened mango.
Store the mango pickle into a sterilized container covered with clean cloth and leave it at a warm aerated place, preferably in sunlight for about a week.
Shake the jar at least once a day.
